so hey, I've decided to build a pc for the first time :D my macbook is great and all, but... well, I miss having a PC around.

MaximumPC.com offers a recent and exciting-looking guide for a gaming/art pc for $500 or less. [link] Here's the trick, though- for some completely unrealistic reason, I'm going to try to pay for it with moneys earned exclusively from commissions.
